What is The Clothes Closet?
The Clothes Closet, a program of SWFIC, provides work appropriate clothing, free of charge, to women who have either left an abusive situation, or who are in a job training program and are preparing for job interviews. Clients are referred to the Clothes Closet by over 65 partnering agencies throughout Winnipeg.

Closed for Clothing Donations: We are not accepting any clothing donations at this time. We will begin accepting clothes again on Monday January 15, 2018.
Thank you for understanding. We need this time to process all the generous donations we have received this fall and prepare for our office closure. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We request that donations be clean, current, ready-to-wear clothing appropriate for a women who is going to a job interview. Donations can be dropped off in boxes or bags that are not too heavy to lift. Thank you for your support!
The Clothes Closet is operated by volunteers and relies entirely upon donations from the community.
We are grateful for the following donations:
Suits, Jackets, Pants, Skirts, Blouses, Tops, Shoes, Boots, Coats, Accessories, Jewelry, Scarves, Purses, Belts. Plus sized clothing is always in high demand.
