What is The Clothes Closet?
The Clothes Closet, a program of SWFIC, provides work appropriate clothing, free of charge, to women who have either left an abusive situation, or who are in a job training program and are preparing for job interviews. Clients are referred to the Clothes Closet by over 65 partnering agencies throughout Winnipeg.

Please note our last day to receive clothing donations will be June 15. After this date no clothing donations will be accepted.
Our office is closed for July and August and we will begin accepting clothing donations in the fall on September 15.
We request that donations be clean, current, ready-to-wear clothing appropriate for a women who is going to a job interview. Donations can be dropped off in boxes or bags that are not too heavy to lift. Thank you for your support!
The Clothes Closet is operated by volunteers and relies entirely upon donations from the community.
We are grateful for the following donations:
Suits, Jackets, Pants, Skirts, Blouses, Tops, Shoes, Boots, Coats, Accessories, Jewelry, Scarves, Purses, Belts. Plus sized clothing is always in high demand.
Cash Donations so we can purchase items such a new undergarments, socks, hosiery etc. Cash donations over $15 will receive a tax receipt. To Donate now click the link on the right side.
