BABYSITTERS TRAINING
For Students age 12 and up
Learn how to care for babies and children safely and responsibly. Includes: accident prevention, fire safety, emergencies, kids at different ages, and employer/employee responsibilities. Successful participants receive a certificate. Students must be 12 years of age within two months of the workshop. If your child has a health concern or allergy that the facilitator should be aware of please call the office at 204-284-9311 when your registration is complete. Nut free, bagged lunch required.

READY, SET, SOLO!
For Students age 11 and up, along with a parent.
Together you and your child create a plan for your child to stay home alone safely and confidently. Discuss concerns as they relate to your family. Includes: home safety, family rules, emergencies, and strangers. Please note in Manitoba children must not be left home alone until they reach age 12.

Fee: $35.00 per family
First Fall Date: Sunday, September 20 (6 to 9 pm) Call to register. Online registration will begin in July.


BASIC STUDY SKILLS FOR STUDENTS
For Students in grades 5 and 6, or grades 7 to 9
Students learn how to be more organized and better prepared for tests and school work. Students identify their preferred learning style (visual, auditory, tactile) and learn about strategies for each style. If your child has a health concern or allergy that the facilitator should be aware of please call the office at 204-284-9311 when registration is complete.
